Sort Through Your Excuses:

There are three types of excuses, if you want to recreate yourself then it is time to get real and get rid of your excuses.

INTERNAL - Talking yourself into not doing something, "I'm too tired", or my favourite one... "I'll wait till I'm a little fitter".

EXTERNAL - (these are very controllable) "I'm too busy", "it is too cold", "I'll start next week".

UNCONTROLLABLE EXCUSES - A family crisis or a sick child. These are really the only REAL excuses for you not to start or continue your new lifestyle.




Now you have sorted through your

excuses:


WRITE A COMMITMENT LETTER

To yourself or to your family, let them know this time you ARE committed and you need there support.


YOUR TIME:

Fit exercise into your lifestyle make it your "me time" don't make it a chore.


GET A WORKOUT BUDDY:

It will keep it fun, fresh and will motivate each other. It will give you and them added support and most importantly it makes you accountable.


HAVE GOALS

Goals keep you motivated...Try having a SMART goal.

S - Specific.
M - Measurable.
A - Achievable.
R - Realistic.
T - Time.
EG: I will book in for Personal Training with Ta Ta Tummy, I will lose 8kg in two months, I will know when I have achieved my goal as I will fit back into my favourite jeans.

FINALLY:

Celebrate your success, you have worked hard to recreate yourself. You should always acknowledge you accomplishments.
